Hides the tool buttons for a tidier screen. The tool you used last stays active. Applies to this device only.
-
The bar with the clock, zoom and settings stays at the top while you scroll, handy on big boards.
-
The puzzle counts as solved as soon as every region is right, drawn with lines or filled in with colours. Off: you press Done yourself, and only the lines count.
-
Adds buttons below the board to save up to 10 positions and go back to any of them, e.g. before a bold guess.
-
Shows letters above and below the board and numbers at its sides, so you can name a cell, like C4.
-
Play without a running clock. Your time is still measured and shown when you solve the puzzle.
-
Removes the Hint button and its H key, so it does not tempt you.
-
The clock stops while the game is in the background and gets a Pause button. Times measured this way are not ranked.
-
An area closed off without a circle turns red, and so does the circle of a closed region that is not symmetric.
-
Shows errors in blue instead of red, which is easier to see with red-green colour blindness.
-
Outlines what your last move changed, so you quickly find your place again.
-
Plays a short celebration on the board when you solve a puzzle.
-
Draws faint dotted lines between all cells, which helps with counting and finding partner cells.
-
Dragging draws one connected line from dot to dot, round corners too; moving back shortens it. Off: each edge you drag over is set on its own.
-
Press a circle and drag onto a cell (on a touch screen, hold the circle first): the cell and its partner across the circle light up. Red means the partner would lie outside the board.
-
A circle turns black once its region is finished, so you see at a glance what is done.
-
Gives every finished region a colour of its own, different from its neighbours.
