Hides the tool buttons for a tidier screen. The tool you used last stays active. Applies to this device only.
-
The bar with the clock, zoom and settings stays at the top while you scroll, handy on big boards.
-
The puzzle counts as solved the moment your last mark is right. Turn it off to look over your solution and press Done yourself.
-
Adds buttons below the board to save up to 10 positions and go back to any of them, e.g. before a bold guess.
-
Shows letters above and below the board and numbers at its sides, so you can name a cell, like C4.
-
Play without a running clock. Your time is still measured and shown when you solve the puzzle.
-
Removes the Hint button and its H key, so it does not tempt you.
-
The clock stops while the game is in the background and gets a Pause button. Times measured this way are not ranked.
-
Shaded cells turn red when they break a rule: a full 2×2 block, identical tetrominoes side by side, more than four cells in a region, or a group that can no longer join the rest.
-
Shows errors in blue instead of red, which is easier to see with red-green colour blindness.
-
Outlines what your last move changed, so you quickly find your place again.
-
Plays a short celebration on the board when you solve a puzzle.
-
Tints the region of the cell you last clicked or reached with the arrow keys.
-
Highlights all shaded cells connected to the one you changed last. Holding Shift shows the group under the mouse, even with this off.
-
Draws the region borders thicker, so the regions stand out more.
-
Colours every finished tetromino by its shape (L, I, T, S), so identical shapes that touch catch your eye.
-
When three cells of a 2×2 block are shaded, the fourth gets a cross by itself.
-
Once a region holds its tetromino, its other cells get crosses by themselves.
